Solving problems shakes up my ideas, I must admit 🧩
I am an agronomist 🌾 and, since I entered the world of food production science, I have dedicated considerable time to research activities. Initially, during my undergraduate studies (2006-2012), I was involved in scientific initiation, followed by a specialization in Agroecology (2012-2014) 🌳🥕🌲🌍, a master’s degree (2012-2014), and later a PhD in Plant Production 🌱 (2016-2020). From 2020 to 2023, I worked full-time as a Regional Scientific Development Research Fellow, Level C, at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (Brazil), focusing on research on biochar. Between 2022 and 2024, I also worked as an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (Brazil), teaching Biochemistry.
I am curious and always studying or practicing something that involves solving puzzles. Over the past six years, I have integrated my curiosity for technology with programming in languages like Python 🐍, R 📊, and Dart (Flutter) 📲, aiming to combine my passion for problem-solving with my academic background. Recently, I started studying Systems Analysis and Development (UNIP), and I am specializing in Artificial Intelligence applied to Agriculture (UTFPR).
It has been very interesting for me to explore the possibilities that arise from the intersection of technological tools and the agricultural world. I see this interest as an experimental space, dedicating my free time to it. The result? Yet another source of experiences that helps me assist you in solving problems 😉
The most interesting aspect of this combination has been the development of a side project, in partnership with my wife (Love you! 💘), which we call “Código Agro”, along with the digital entrepreneurship activities related to it. These include the development of the CalagemApp (already available on Google Play), the Instagram profile (@codigo.agro), the website (codigoagro.com), and the YouTube channel (Código Agro).
